Is the ReStore open to the public?

Yes!  Anyone can shop at the ReStore.

Where do the proceeds from the sales go?

The proceeds from the ReStore go directly to Loudoun Habitat for Humanity to support their mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.

How are prices determined?

Prices are discounted at least 50% off retail value with both the age of the item and the condition of the item taken into consideration.

Yes, there are 2 different hold options:

  1. In-Store Hold: Hold an item in store while you finish shopping

  2. 3 Hour Hold: Hold an item for 3 hours after you leave the store

Can an item be placed on hold?

All sales are final.  However, we offer a 10-day warranty for appliances that are defective and accompanied by the original receipt.

Can an item be returned?

Only purchased items that are too large to fit into a customer's vehicle (as determined by the ReStore staff) will be held. Since we do not have a delivery service, items can be held for three (3) business days.  At the end of the 3rd day, a $5 storage fee will be charged for two (2) more days.  After five (5) business days, unclaimed purchased items will be considered forfeited to the ReStore and returned to the sales floor.  No refunds or exchanges will be given for items left for more than five (5) business days.

I am not able to get my purchase home, can I pick it up later?

Yes, we provide assistance loading items.  However, we do not place items on a roof or tie them down.

Can I have assistance loading my purchase into my vehicle?
